At Broadmor Elementary, students and staff have come up with a clever way to promote new friendships and a school culture built on inclusion and kindness through their “Buddy Bench.”
Ryan Vaughan’s fifth-grade classroom at Scales Technology Academy was transformed into a Revolutionary War “wax museum” one afternoon as the class invited family and friends from other classes to view their video presentations on assigned Revolutionary War figures.
Last semester, eighth-graders in Samuel Wolloch’s geometry class at Gililland MIddle School learned lessons on landscape architecture and implemented designs for local homes in their community.
Arredondo is looking to our community and asking them to direct their tax dollars to the school of their choice.

This year, 30 Wood students were selected for a holiday shopping spree to meet their needs going into the holiday season.
